We, as a centre, had decided to participate in this year's ADCO "Kids Helping Kids Walkathon" on Thursday May 11, 2017 at 10:00 am. We walked to raise funds for SickKids Foundation!
We were excited to participate in this event, and hope to make it a yearly tradition at Sprouts. It is an excellent opportunity for the children to learn about valuable lessons about compassion, giving back to the community and the importance of physical fitness.
Our walkathon was a huge success. We raised $460 to support this wonderful cause. Thank you to the staff and children who braved the chilly weather to walk this morning. A huge thank you to all who supported the daycare and this cause.
