PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

The preschool years are an important time for children to develop confidence, curiosity and a love for learning. At Sprouts Childcare, our preschool program provides a stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, discover and build strong foundations for future learning. Our classroom features a variety of learning centres that support different areas of development. Through play-based and guided activities, children develop important skills in science and sensory exploration, creative arts, mathematics, language & literacy and dramatic play. These experiences help children strengthen their problem-solving abilities, creativity and early academic skills while building confidence and independence. Weekly activities are thoughtfully planned based on children’s interests and developmental needs. Both individual and group activities encourage cooperation, social development and self-help skills while continuing to support early learning. Additional enrichment opportunities, such as music activities and other enhanced exploration, are also introduced in age-appropriate ways. Children enjoy a nutritious hot lunch and two healthy snacks daily, along with a scheduled rest period during the day. Preschoolers also participate in two outdoor play periods each day, giving them time for active play, fresh air and physical development.
